Industry partnership opportunities
The 91亚色传媒 has teamed up with to provide 91亚色传媒 members fresh industry partnership opportunities each month. Below you'll find several requests for assistance from companies seeking certain expertise and technologies. Learn more about our partnership with Halo.
Kraft Heinz: Salty enhancing ingredient technology for internal product
Kraft Heinz is seeking natural ingredient technologies to achieve at least 30%, but preferably over 50%, sodium reduction within complex food systems of various moisture, pH and salt levels. A prospective ingredient technology may, on its own, be salty or may enhance the saltiness of the food system in which it is incorporated. Food systems of interest include, but are not limited to, sauces and condiments, processed meat products, and processed cheese/cheese food. Interested partnership models include sponsored research, co-development, supply/purchase and licensing.
Cargill: Alternative hydrogenation methods or novel approaches to increase the melting point of oil
Cargill is seeking to better understand alternative hydrogenation methods that can convert unsaturated fatty acids (in triglyceride form) into saturated fatty acids (natural/nonhazardous). Natural or enzymatic hydrogenation are potential approaches, but other ideas or technology areas are welcome too. Interested partnership models include sponsored research, co-development, licensing, acquisition, material transfer, equity investment and supply/purchase.
Daiichi Sankyo: Small molecules and peptides or screening system for pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma cells
Daiichi Sankyo is looking to develop novel chemical derivatives designed to exhibit high levels of tumor microenvironment penetration and selective internalizatoin into pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma cells. It is seeking novel chemical derivatives (small molecules or peptides) that can be internalized into a wide range of PDAC cells selectively via unique mechanism of action. It is also interested in screening systems to identify desired chemical products. Interested partnership models include sponsored research, co-development, material transfer and licensing.
Private company: Aluminum alternatives for antiperspirants
A private sponsor is looking for technologies and formulations that provide consumer-meaningful wetness reduction for underarms and ideally whole-body application (including feet and privates). Solutions of interest include: deodorant sprays, sticks, creams, gels or other forms directly applied to skin; technologies that can be integrated in a deodorant product; and formulations and/or technologies that are alternatives to aluminum chloride and aluminum zirconium that provide a wetness-reduction benefit. Interested partnership models include sponsored research, co-development, equity investment, acquisition, supply/purchase, licensing and material transfer.
Private company: Peptide production via a fermentation platform
A private sponsor is seeking fermentation platforms to generate a product containing functional peptide sequences. Solutions of interest include: cell lines/organisms capable of expressing/producing different peptides; scalable fermentation process with optimized conditions for the production of peptides; peptide purification methods (ideally yielding purity of ≥ 85%); and high-throughput validation if desired peptides can be expressed using a certain host organism. Interested partnership models include sponsored research and material transfer.
Private company: Sustainable ingredients and solutions for hair loss reduction
A private sponsor is looking for sustainable and environmentally friendly compounds that can be used in a topical cosmetic product or an oral supplement to help consumers reduce hair loss. They are open to solutions ranging from technology readiness levels 1–7. Interested partnership models include co-development, equity investment, acquisition, supply/purchase, licensing and material transfer.
Private company: Solutions to improve scalp comfort during hair coloring
A private sponsor is looking for solutions that improve scalp comfort during oxidative hair coloring. Its major focus is changes to the coloring composition formulations. Solutions for pre-treatment, which could be applied prior to coloring the hair, are also welcome. Interested partnership models include co-development, material transfer, licensing and supply/purchase.
