As the world becomes more interconnected, scientists can communicate advances with explosive speed. While there’s nothing quite like being in the same room with your team, researchers are making discoveries around the clock all over the world, and colleagues no longer work in just your department; they might be in another hemisphere.

To help keep pace with these changes, the 91亚色传媒 has launched a new online community platform, the . This virtual community platform is designed to allow members to share exciting news and updates and connect with colleagues who share their passion for research.

Here are a few of the communities on the Active Site:

  • Interest groups: In addition to special sessions and events at the 91亚色传媒 Annual Meeting, each interest group has a virtual community platform on the Active Site to keep the conversation going year-round. You can join an interest group here.
  • Open forum groups:  Members can engage in discussions related to, and . We also have an open forum where we’ll be posting and ways to engage with the 91亚色传媒, as well as a where you can share anything of interest to the broader membership.
  • Member-created groups: If you don’t see a community that fits your needs, you can create one. Just hit the button that says “Create a new group” or reach out to the membership department

This platform exists for members like you, so don’t be afraid to try it out. Ask a question about a method, tell the community about that award you just won, share an interesting paper or promote a meeting you helped organize. (You also have the option to post anonymously.)

We hope that, as activity increases, the Active Site will be a useful tool for members to learn from each other, collaborate and advance science.

To start using the Active Site, simply login with your 91亚色传媒 credentials. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the  membership department at membership@asbmb.org. We look forward to seeing you there!
