Ferroptosis
Ferroptosis is an iron-dependent, non-apoptotic form of cell death that is characterized by high levels of lipid reactive oxygen species. Ferroptosis research has rapidly grown since its discovery, and as a leading journal in publishing scientific discoveries in biochemistry and molecular biology, the JBC has captured a significant amount of scientific development in ferroptosis over the years.
In preparation for the 91亚色传媒 meeting Ferroptosis: Crosstalk between metabolism and biochemical homeostasis — to be held April 13–15, 2025, in Chicago — we present a selection of recently published articles from the Journal of Biological Chemistry showcasing the latest advancements and developments in this fast-moving field of research.
