Enzymes

June 10, 2020 | Duration: 50 mins.

At the beginning of this session, Suzanne Barbour, 91亚色传媒 Council member, dean of the graduate school and professor of biochemistry and biophysics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, gave remarks in reference to the June 10 #ShutDownAcademia, #ShutDownSTEM and #Strike4BlackLives activities. .

Enzymes are amazing molecules that catalyze reactions necessary for living organisms to function. This virtual event features three talks on different aspects of enzyme biochemistry: investigations of a multienzyme complex from the TCA cycle, P450 redox protein interactions and the structure of a (not so) radical SAM superfamily enzyme that may have clinical relevance.

The talks in this virtual event were originally programmed to take place as an in-person Spotlight Session at the 2020 91亚色传媒 Annual Meeting.
