Increasing DEAI in STEM
The 91亚色传媒 is committed to being an agent of change, and it advocates for programs and policies that ensure all individuals can fully participate in the U.S. research enterprise.
The society supports and produces DEAI-related programming and advocates at the federal level for:
- Strengthening research capacity at minority-serving institutions.
- Achieving gender equity in STEM by implementing inclusive language, sexual harassment prevention and accountability policies.
- Establishing measures, including mentoring plans, to ensure the retention of underrepresented and minoritized students.
- Expanding and making better use of re-entry and reintegration supplement awards.
